Biography
Tom French started his career at
Interplay where he worked on many games including the first two
Fallout games. After his success he was moved to
Black Isle, the new RPG development house for
Interplay. He took on more substantial roles in
Black Isle, serving as a programmer on the
Icewind Dale games. He was also involved with the production on some games that were never released including Baldur's Gate 3 and a Fallout 3 prototype called Van Buren.
After
Black Isle was shut down, French after a short while moved to
Pandemic Studios. After his first project with
Pandemic,
Mercenaries, achieved critical and commercial acclaim, French was promoted to lead designer. His most recent project has been Pandemic's final game
The Saboteur.
He has recently started at
Microsoft Game Studios as Design Director, working on
Kinect related games.
