    Dominion is insanely fun, and they're right about it being a far superior alternative to Magic. No need to build decks means every game is fair. You don't get the feeling of, well, I'll never win, because he has a better deck.

    Dominion rules!  Check out any of the expansions!  They add so much to the base game.

    @MattBodega: Ask Will if he's played Bazaar. It's a great game, and it's easy to make house rules for. I think older versions of it used chips to trade with, but you'll most likely find it using pebbles, like this:

    Yay boardgames! I can't wait for the new Dominion expansion, Prosperity, it has really great cards and some neat tweaks. 
     
    I was a demo-er for Queen games at a convention a couple of months ago, and now suggest both Fresco and Samarkand: Road to Riches to everyone. Very fun, and Samarkand is a great way to introduce folks to 'train games' by way of multicolored camels and families instead of the more traditional, yet way dry theme-wise trains and goods shipping. My go to game lately has been Roll Through the Ages, a kind of goofy civilization building through dice rolling game. 
     
    Also, I dislike both vanilla Catan and Carcassone. I do enjoy both Carc the City and Carc the Castle tho.

    So here's what you do: Have the Tested guys rig up some servos to Hungry Hungry Hippos so that one of the 4 players is just a robot. Then create a web app that allows one person at a time to hit a keyboard button in order to control the robot. Then, Robo-Me wants to play Jeff at Hungry Hungry Hippos.
     
    Bonus points if you let multiple people into the web app so the robot needs to move at light speed keep up.
