Tim Longo worked at LucasArts for many years before leaving the industry to work as a wilderness ranger for the US Forest Service. After this brief career change, he returned to game development in 2011, joining Crystal Dynamics to server as a creative director on the Tomb Raider franchise, after which he returned to LucasArts to direct an unannounced first-person shooter.
In May 2013, he joined Halo 4 developer 343 Industries. After shipping Halo 4 and 5, he worked on Halo Infinite as creative director before departing the company in August 2019.
