    Well, talk about dissapointing1

After seeing some reviews saying that it's great, even though it was basically the same game, I decided to give this game a try. First off, don't buy it for 60$. I got mine off of ebay for just 30$, so at least it was cheaper that way.

For one thing, I really enjoyed the first game, even if the PC versions wasn't the best version with all it's technical difficulties. I had a ball with lot's of fun online and a solid single player campaign, it was great. Oh, it had impressive visuals too. Now, it just doesn't even seem the same

I don't really like the ranking system. You get points for every guy you kill, but then there are these things called A.C.E.S. Basically, you have to unlock weapons by doing certain actions. Oh, and there are three classes you can specialize in. I didn't really like that, because if there's a certain gun you want to unlock, let's the an Assault weapon, you don't unlock it  by using the Assault weapons you havve right now, you have to blow up people with explosives, kill people on turrets, or kill enemies through walls. It gets kind of annoying because usually the stuff I get done easily is the short ranged combat which unlocks other stuff besides what I wanted.

The AI in this game can be rather stupid, and then unrealisticly smart. Sure, they'll take cover, but most of there stuff is scripted, and some will even run out to certain death. Then, they can actually see through walls when you're trying to be stealthy. How the heck does that happen? At least you'll have some fun taking cover and popping off some shots.

The multiplayer in this game is definitely the highlight, but even that's not as fun. I don't know why, but I had a lot more fun with the first one then I did with the second, it's just weird. But it still fun. I've had fun with the terrorist hunt, and the adverserial modes were solid, but the co-op for the campaign is not really that fun. For one thing, it's only two players while the last game was four players. I have no idea what they were thinking, but it really shouldn't have been done like that. Basically, the host controls the two squad mates, while you're just there shooting people having no control. That said, the co-op for the campaign is still somewhat fun, it just really isn't what it should've been. Every other Multiplayer mode is fine though.

In the end, this game is basically a rehash of the first game, with a few add-ons, and something that just makes the game doesn't feel as fun as the first one. It's pretty hard to reccomend, but if you can find it for a not so expensive price, it might be worth checking out.

I want to hate Rainbow Six Vegas 2, I really do. It isn't a true sequel, but more like an update to the original; taking out certain issues and fixing some problems (though they don't fix everything). With that said I still find the game enjoyable and it is sure to please fans of the original. The single-player campaign has gone through a few changes. Now your created character is used in every single mode including the Story mode, which now has drop-in co-op. The co-op does seem to play better t...

      If I could give it 2 1/2 stars I would 0

Tom Clancys Rainbow Six Vegas 2 is one of those games that really make me chuckle to myself. Its a game I really wanted to like, as I had a lot of fun with the SP in the first one, but I just didnt. It added a great new experience system, and took away everything else that made the first so great. StoryYou know, I couldnt really tell you much about the story in RSV2 except it was an extension of the original. There are some rogue agents, terrorists doing cliche bad guy stuff, and many situation...
