It does not even feel like splinter cell. I remember the older games where you could go throught the hole lvl without killing one person at all in this there is no way to do so.

Any one else not liking demo?
The controls kind of take some getting used to, but I thought it was really fun. It basically sold me the game.
I liked it alot, besides is just a DEMO. And this is kind of a new direction for sam fisher so its a different game experience.
I like how you hold the LT to snap to cover and use A to sprint between cover positions, making it easy to sneak around someone for a quick kill. If you wanna just run in and kill everyone then you can do that but just like past SC game you gotta be careful because you take a lot of damage.
I really love the interegation scene in the beginning and how at the end Sam Fisher snaps the dude's neck WITH ONE HAND! Also the slamming dude's face into sinks and urinals is pretty cool too and i deffinatly hope there's more of that in the full game.
The demo is actually pretty good, eventhough i have never finished a splinter cell game this was looks ok so far.
Hey. To find other people's impressions of the demo, check out this nifty " Your Demo Impressions" thread! There's bound to be a few people in there who didn't enjoy it.
I wasn't really feeling the demo but I learned a while ago not to base a entire game based off a few mins of gameplay. I was really digging how they told the objectives that sh** was cool. Makes me really wish for a Zombieland game. I will still probably pick this up day one because I have been looking forward to it for some time.
Im not going to say it sucks because its just a demo, but I didnt enjoy it as much as I thought I would.
I totally forgot that demo was up, thanks for reminding me.
But I suppose it's normal to expect different controls since they did say they wanted they "re-start" the franchise in a certain (even though it's more thematically than gameplay wise).
The killing just fits with the story. Fisher isn't doing a stealth mission, he's doing a personnal thing, and he's pissed.
