For some reason my cable has been acting funky lately so today was the first day I could get some co-op on where the latency wasn't terrible. I started some match making and starting looking for a session. Let the games begin.
First off I'm getting some harsh lag in my movements. It's bad but not enough to make it unplayable. I then realize my partner doesn't have a mic. OK again not the end of the world but I don't see any surgical precision strikes. My play style is heavy stealth with a double dash of patience so my thinking is that the other player should be able to pickup on this. Turns out I didn't have to worry about this for you see my partner was playing his own style.
Shoot everything as quickly as possible.
I spent most of the game reviving him. When I was reviving him I was getting him out of choke holds. The times I died was mostly because he alerted the guards or (better yet)  tripped the lasers while was half way across.
In the end I had a laugh over it and worked on some PEC challenges. It's probably for the best we didn't have mic's since I can only imagine what comic gold he'd be spouting.

    Part Two.
Less lag this time but partner was no less stupid. The first chapter of Co-Op went a little better but I had this feeling... This inkling that maybe he wasn't the brightest bulb. For one he seemed to obsessed with taking out lights. Ob-Sessed. The was also extremely determined to take people out to the point that stealth was an after thought. We stumbled through the mission but finished it none the less.
    Then we hit chapter two.
The definition of a crazy person is someone who performs the same actions over and over again expecting different results. That's this guy to a T.  Here's how the situation played out.
He'd shoot out lights, guards would come, he'd get caught (it's a zero detection level). Repeat  a couple dozen times and that's it in a nutshell. I tried to coach him over the Mic but no luck. In the end I just quit though I wasn't angry just extremely confused.

    Sigh.
