While your points about experience being granted for brutal finishers and such may lend themselves validity when you choose to completely separate story from gameplay - the idea that the violence in this game is in any way sexualized is quite ludicrous and sensationalist.

This game is basically Uncharted 2, there are many similar story beats, except personally I think Tomb Raider executes on a lot of ideas and mainly gameplay a lot better than Uncharted ever did. That said, if we put forth claims that violence is sexualized whenever the lead protagonist happens to be a female then we might as well give up on videogames right now.

This actually brings me back to the days of me defending Tomb Raider from people who hadn't played the game and had jumped on the white knight bandwagon. I'm not saying that's what you're doing, but it does bring take me back.

As for what you actually said I think you should look at the Dead Space death sequences.
