@lordgodalming: It just may be that your audience is not as likely to jump on a media inspired hysteria bandwagon as much as those other sites.
While your points about experience being granted for brutal finishers and such may lend themselves validity when you choose to completely separate story from gameplay - the idea that the violence in this game is in any way sexualized is quite ludicrous and sensationalist.
This game is basically Uncharted 2, there are many similar story beats, except personally I think Tomb Raider executes on a lot of ideas and mainly gameplay a lot better than Uncharted ever did. That said, if we put forth claims that violence is sexualized whenever the lead protagonist happens to be a female then we might as well give up on videogames right now.
