Torchlight II
Game » consists of 7 releases. Released Sep 20, 2012
The sequel to Runic Games' Torchlight, it features four new classes, a much bigger world, online co-op play, and a host of other new features.
Torchlight II Will Feature Different Cities And Expanses
If anyone's interested and doesn't already have the original Torchlight, it's on sale here for $5.
This is exciting. I hope this game is as good as the first one. More areas and cities will make this much more exciting.
Doom and gloom? The first game had more color than a kindergarten classroom. =P
I am so hyped for this. There's not enough point and click RPGs anymore, at least not streamlined, pleasant looking at ones.... with dogs that carry your shit around for you.
Who thinks it's possible for 3 Torchlight games to be released during Diablo 3's development?
Cool, the first one was my first experience with these types of games and I really liked what I played.
As a huge fan and advocate of the original Torchlight, I'm really glad to hear this.
As much fun as I had with the first game, having all of the same NPCs over so many hours started to wear on me and feel like it was actually going back in time from this team's Diablo II. Even if the difference is mostly aesthetic, there's a sense of accomplishment when you've "completed" an entire city and get to move to the desert jewel, the marsh, the northern city...
I'm sure Runic's classic art style will make these cities fun to explore and learn all over again.
And I still need someone to announce, "You have quite a treasure there in that Horadric cube!"
It's a sequel, it should have different cities and expanses
That's a given.....
God, I hate Nicholson
Kessler is alright; he's just an intern afterall
But Nicholson should just save what dignity he has left and stop making news shitty news stories
Again, Spring 2011 is too early. Aim for the end of 2011. You want people to think "wow, I miss that game, I'm eager to play more!" rather than "didn't I just finish that?". Also, it seems like they're missing out on a great opportunity to milk us for cash. Just retain the single game and charge cash for each additional city. Want to play in all five cities? Pony up $10 each.
I really wanted the MMO, but I'll accept this until that is eventually released. If it's $20 new (like the original), I'm there day-one.
Man just when I bought the first one which I think I'm probably never gonna play again... Unless I'm at uni suffering hard from videogame withdrawal. Oh well... Looks cool but i'll probably skip it and wait for the MMO unless this turns out to be awesome.
