Game » consists of 0 releases. Released Mar 25, 2019

Total Lockdown is a multiplayer online “Battle Royale” game, powered by Unreal Engine 4 and developed by Moscow-based “Panzar Studio”. It combines elements of shooter and survival simulator. The project offers an unconventional approach to the genre: the in-game space is divided into 24 separate floors - and moving between those floors largely determines the game tactics. The PC version of Total Lockdown has been in open early access from March 25, 2019.

    Short summary describing this game.

Total Lockdown last edited by nosoundnowin on 03/30/19 01:57AM View full history

At the beginning of each session the player is invited to choose the floor on which to start the game and one of the three weapons and equipment packs. Once on the location, players can explore the floor in search of weapons, armor, ammo, medicines and other things. Items are randomly distributed on the map in the beginning of the session, but some types of equipment are always present in certain areas - for example, medicine is sure to appear in a medical unit, and ammunition - in a police station. When a character dies he leaves his equipment at the place of death.

Instead of the standard for the genre “drop” system, Total Lockdown has stores in which players can find armor, weapons and ammunition. When such a store starts working it is announced by the show host for all the players to know. Closed stores can be hacked with special tools but an alarm will alert all enemies on the floor of the attempted robbery.

In order to make the spectacle more exciting, the show hosts fill rooms of the skyscraper with poisonous gas, thereby gradually reducing the available space and forcing the players to face each other. A last safe floor is not filled with gas immediately, but by zones - in the same way as it works in other games of the “Battle Royale” genre. Also, there is a radar that indicates location of players on the map and thus prevents them from staying in one place for a long time - for example, in ambush. The show host warns players in advance about the radar or poisonous gas activation, which gives them time to choose a strategy. Nevertheless, here it is necessary to make decisions quickly - the gameplay in Total Lockdown is intense and dynamic. On average, each session lasts for no more than 15 minutes.

The PC version of Total Lockdown has been in open early access from March 25, 2019. The official release for Windows is scheduled for fall 2019. Also, in developers’ plans are versions for Xbox One, PS4 and mobile devices. Total Lockdown is a free-to-play game.
