Overview
Developed jointly between Namco, Sega, and Nintendo, the Triforce hardware is essentially a modified version of Nintendo's GameCube console. Three versions of the console exists: Type-1 (using an external GD-ROM DIMM board similar to the Sega NAOMI), Type-3 (using an integrated GD-ROM system), and a custom Namco version (using NAND Flash memory cartridges). These systems are not cross-compatible.
Only one game series (The Key of Avalon) supports Satellite Terminal setups, allowing them to link up multiple terminals to one centralized console (which displays to its own large screen).
