The Concept: Once again, this game also tries to do something new with the genre. In this case, the concept is to make a match-three-or-more puzzle game with levels based around your music. Multipliers and combos can be built up by triggering the groups of blocks in time with the game's tempo. The Good: Supports most open media formats (.mp3, .ogg, .wav), as well as Audio CDs. This is ain't no Lumines 0

Turba is Latin word meaning crowd. Other than the online leaderboard there is no other relation to world Turba in this indie puzzle. Game-play for this silly titled game is lifted from Bejeweled where three blocks are matched to make way for more blocks. Difference with Turba is that the game boards are generated randomly based on the music file loaded in the beginning of the game. This might sound like a perfect combination of Bejewled and Lumines. A fun mix of puzzle and music. 0

 Turba is a fun little game on Steam that combines the puzzle gameplay of something similar to bejeweled and the music of...well whatever music you have on your computer! I love other games like this including Audiosurf and Beat Hazard. This review was originally posted on January 10 2011 on my Gamespot profile. There are 3 game modes.
