Turok: Evolution isn't the greatest FPS of all time, but it had it's unique moments. Throughout the game you'll obtain pretty much a whole armory's worth of weapons to use against your enemies. It plays similar to old school FPS's from the 90's (which I love). I lost track of the story most of the time to be quite honest. It's not very story driven at all, but that's not always a bad thing. Acclaim should give themselves a pat on the back when it comes to Turok, they did the comics justice during the late nineties: generating three outstanding exclusive Nintendo 64 titles. Turok had always great design, pushing Nintendo's 64 bit machine to it's limits, with solid adventuring elements and thrilling gunplay. Acclaim had essentially made Jurrassic Park into a first person shooter by throwing us, the players, into exotic Jungle environments all the while kicking T Rex ass in the proces...

Let me start by saying I am not a fan of this game. You knew that already by looking at the rating, but I just want to get it out there so you're not expecting much of anything positive in here. This game is utter shit, and I aim to show you why. Let us go over what this game promised, shall we? This game was supposed to resurrect the dying Turok franchise and was supposed to have revolutionary AI, lifelike graphics, innovative gameplay, etc etc. I understand that's quite a bit to promise, so...
