E3 2012 - Ubisoft Press Conference Discussion
I think Aisha did a great job with what she had to work with. I would love to see her back again next year, and maybe for once Ubisoft could contain the train-wreck elements.
And I appear to be alone on not finding Watch Dogs all that interesting. Some neat ideas, but ultimately it boiled down to a shoot out.
I'll say it again, I'm so glad they decided to introduce something new. And it looked kickass. Go Ubisoft.
It's not okey to say that ubisoft won, worst hosts and bad puns about sex and they fucked up so much things. But Watch Dogs, rayman, assasins creed 3, Shootmania and well yeah that. Maybe far cry. If they would have had good hosts this would have been the best shit ever. Now it's just wow. wow. wow.
WOOOOW
Watch Dogs. I dont even.
Platform? God I dont know what to say actually.

Watch Dogs....wow..
$5 on Amazon for the MP3 album... Niiiiiice
Watch_Dogs looked great and if it did have multiplayer you can totally see where it probably has little bits of the assassin's creed multiplayer DNA in itwith blending into surroundings etc.
Was interested in Shootmania, but the subtle "FUCK YOU, E-SPORTS" thing sort of made that whole thing awkward.
But Watch Dogs? Oh yes, Watch Dogs.

Well, so far Ubi has the best show. The games were exciting and surprising. Each new segment provided something new and Aisha Tyler's chatter kept things interesting. Okay, "Toby" was a freakin' moron who might wind up this year's Mr Caffeine. Also, the eSports Shootmania stage demo ran a bit long. Something like that just doesn't work without any audience knowledge of the game itself. Enemy of the State, Conspiracy Theory, Eagle Eye and now Watch Dogs. I'm not really sure what to make of it, but it could be cool. I loved the AC3 demonstration most of all.
I thought Aisha was brutal. She started off alright, but her insistence on lady boners and sex jokes was really grating. Her banter with Toby was even worse, though. Ugh. Uuuugh.
Some of that press conference was insane and annoying, but man, Watch Dogs has got me excited for the first time since the press conferences started today.

Someone in the GB chat was saying it was the Razer Xbox 360 Tournament Edition controller
I liked the ubisoft conference most, it was actually quite enjoyable from start to finish. I also loved that fact that they are pushing esports, even if shootmania might not be "that" title. I think competitive online multiplayer is still evolving alot and hopefully ubisoft has other competitive games in the works for future e3's. Also: day9 is at e3 demoing shootmania :OOOOOOOO

@PeasantAbuse: As someone mentioned in the chat, it looks a lot like the Razer Xbox 360 Tournament Edition controller.
Oh, I thought it might be that special Wii U controller and I was going to poop.
So the Watch Dogs gameplay video uploaded by ubisoft had a different ending from live demo.... MULTIPLAYER?!
Liked the trailers/games... but not the hosting(I have no idea how anyone can even think of defending it, but people are, strangely enough)... still though, it was the best press event out of the 3 so far (Ubi, EA, than MS).
Ah, Watch_Dog... I will admit, i do want to play a semi-modern day AC title.
The conference I had the least interest in ended up being the best so far, by some distance. Ignoring those godawful hosts and awkward ShootMania bit.
Assassin's Creed 3 - Once again interested in that series. Bravo you magicians.
Far Cry 3 - Tigers, on fire, mauling both you and your enemies. And a pole-dancing main villain. No more needs to be said.
Watch_Dogs - Other companies... learn from Boobisoft! Some surprises are good, and this one was incredible. Some are moaning about the firefight, but when the shooting started it seemed to be very much about movement as well, not just sitting in one place and popping up to fire. Might indicate very little health that your character has, placing more tension onto the action.
Rayman - Was a bit meh, but then that final level which was linked to the music? A big smile was on my face throughout that bit.
