Huge improvement over LAST YEAR’S MODEL
Uncharted 2 Among Thieves is one of the most fun exciting a thrill a minute action adventure games in a long time. I have played a ton of games, although never have reviewed many of them guess I should start. Most games I like taking my time and enjoy them I try not to rush through. I broke that habit with Uncharted 2. I could not release the DualShock 3 from my hands. I got extremely involved with the story, characters and the beautiful world Naughty Dog has brought to life. I truly enjoyed the first one although really the story and characters kept me going. The way Nolan North and Emily Rose had brought Nate and Elena to life was so incredible besides Metal Gear Solid this was one of the first games that the plot meant more to me.
Uncharted 2 takes what Naughty Dog set out to do with its predecessor did and fixed everything. Just as Brad Shoemaker stated the combat is better finely tuned to make it a much more manageable shooter. Everything has been improved including the graphics, physics and everything. I cant figure out how in the world they made it look better than the first one but they did. The scenes are breathtaking you feel like you are in Drake’s world in the middle of battles with Lazaravich’s henchmen or in the battle between the two love interest Elena and Chloe. I never thought I could see a script, a believable relationship between video game characters like these.
When the game starts its hard to believe your actually playing A lot of games on the 360 and PS3 have done that after the cut scene its game play, but you’ll see what I’m talking about the training level is one of the most intense and epic beginnings to a game I can think of in recent memory. That’s Chapter 1 you still have 25 more incredible, twists, epic battles and simply jaw dropping chapters to go.
Uncharted is the ultimate summer blockbuster that needs to be experienced by any one who has a PS3. Its Indiana Jones, Tomb Raider and Gears of War all together. Naughty Dog you guys are incredible cant wait for Uncharted the Movie and the 3 installment
