Gamasutra has published an unusually long and detailed breakdown on the development of Uncharted: Golden Abyss by Sony Bend creative director John Garvin:
Postmortem: Sony Bend Studio's Uncharted: Golden Abyss
It goes through the challenges of starting development on their first ever AAA game for hardware that didn't yet exist, with a team one third the size of Naughty Dog. How the over all design changed - at one point they were thinking of making it open world. Their first experience with focus testing, and how they think it helped the game. Working with Naughty Dog, and trying not to step on their feet with the Uncharted canon. And analysis of the things they think went wrong.
It's 4 pages long, but it's very interesting and well worth reading.
