    Overview

Released to help fund 2BY3's development of their much larger and ambitious game War in the Pacific: The Struggle Against Japan, Uncommon Valor is a complex turn based war game that focuses on the South Pacific front during World War 2.  Players are put in command of either the Japanese or Allied forces in a variety of scenarios and campaigns from mid 1942 through the end of 1943.  The game becomes quite complex when dealing with the thousands of ships, air squadrons, land units and properly organizing them for battle.  Logistics also plays a major role as the various bases scattered across Pacific must be supplied to replenish ground forces, repair aircraft and ships, and to repair and upgrade the base itself.
