    Overview

    United Software originally started as Ariolasoft, a subsidiary of the German record label Ariola Records.

    In 1987 and 1998 the company was the distributor of the Sega Master System in Germany. The comapny was also the publisher of games for Brøderbund and Electronic Arts in Germany up until they set up their own publishing entities.

    The company was renamed to United Software GmbH in 1990.
