    On the 17th of April 2021 Bloomberg reporter Jason Schreier revealed that the game had been canceled in its current form by Amazon because of Tencents acquisition of developing partner Athlon Games parent company Leyou Technologies.

    An Amazon spokesperson was also quoted by Bloomberg and The Verge with the statement that they were “unable to secure terms to proceed with this title at this time.”
