    Overview

Urusei Yatsura: Lum's Wedding Bell is a 2D side-scrolling platformer for the Nintendo Famicom. It is based on the Urusei Yatsura anime and manga and features its alien princess character Lum Invader.

The game was originally released to the Arcade as Momoko 120%. The game was always meant to carry the Urusei Yatsura license - a MIDI version of the TV show's opening theme plays throughout - but Jaleco couldn't acquire the license in time for the Arcade game release and went for a generic heroine instead. When the game was ported to the Famicom later the same year, it was then able to use the Urusei Yatsura license and its setting and characters were restored.

The game sees Lum try to recover from a space-time tear caused by a massive earthquake. She has to pass through various years of her childhood for each stage, represented by her school year, and must quickly escape a conflagration and escape via UFO. Once she reaches the end and is restored to her natural age, she marries her beau - the put-upon Earthling Ataru Moroboshi - and the game starts over.
