Background
Ushiwakamaru was the childhood nickname of Minamoto no Yoshitsune, a commander of the Minamoto clan during the Genpei War who helped his brother Yoritomo topple the Taira clan and consolidate power, eventually becoming the first Shogun, while Yoshitsune became the Governor of the Iyo province. However, Yoshitsune would later be betrayed by Yoritomo and his son after the war. After being surrounded by Yoritomo's troops and having his closest retainers (including Benkei) die, Yoshitsune was forced to commit seppuku.
Like many historical or mythical figures in the Nasu-verse, the Servant form of Ushiwakamaru was transformed into a cute girl who can be summoned by the player in Fate/Grand Order.
