    Overview

Vadims is a falling-block tile-matching puzzle game developed and published by Softbank (along with Metro and ITC) for the Sony PlayStation exclusively in Japan on May 10, 1996.

Designed by, and named after, Vadim Gerasimov (best known as a co-developer of the original AcademySoft version of the puzzle game Tetris), Vadims builds on the falling-block formula by having players move two-block, red-and-white boxes down a 8×16 playfield, rotating in 3D between multiple patterns of four right-angle triangles, in order to form "diamonds" of the same color in order to clear them (and possibly form chain reactions).
