Varth: Operation Thunderbolt is a vertical scrolling shooter developed by Capcom in the early 90's. In this game the player(s) assume one of two different plane pilots on a mission to rid the planet Varth of one of their own supercomputer after it was possessed by an evil entity called "Duo".
