This demo for the Atari 2600 was created by Activision in 1982 as a response to Atari's accusation that Activision programmers "stole" the "venetian blinds" programming technique.
You should have actually remade it instead of basically porting it. Changing the color and model of the blinds, changing the color of the walls and being able to put posters/images on it, having a different static or perhaps moving image be displayed each time you opened and closed the blinds (perhaps even the whole environment being changed each time you opened and closed them), etc.
It's not as interesting when it's been user-made like this than actually being officially released, so modifications would have been welcome. It's cool to actually be able to experience it now, though.

Well I just did it as a joke, but now that you mention it I think it might be really funny if I made Venetian Blinds HD now with dumbass-realistic graphics.
The original Venetian Blinds had 22 layers where your version only has 19. They also move faster in the original. I don't know that your version really catches the spirit of Venetian Blinds - the way it was meant to be played.
