    Vicious Cycle was founded in 2000 by Dave Ellis along with four others. Most of their work has been with licensed games. They opened up a separate division for these games called Monkey Bar Games. They have worked on Dora The Explorer games, Flushed Away, Curious George. Their most notable work is Dead Head Fred for the PSP, which was viewed well by critics.

    Between 2007 and 2014, Vicious Cycle was owned by D3 Publisher. In September 2014 it was announced they had been acquired by Little Orbit.
