This game was not on my radar at all until I saw this video yesterday. Now I want more. It looks pretty interesting, let's just hope the final product lives up to it.
awesome. Hoping that the MP focus doesn't drive people off, like it did for Shadowrun. Could be worth a pickup, definitely looking to see more of this in the future.
Before I saw this walk through last week I thought this was a racing game for some reason and had ignored it, now I'm looking forward to it. I really love the art style.
This game looks lame. Guns that don't sound powerful, awkward animation for the pistol at the start despite the fact he's obviously walking, an entire magazine of bullets per enemy, weirdly out of proportion characters, useless sliding maneuver expected to be used over and over when everyone will probably forget it's even there, and AI speech that seems to have been pulled out of the generic FPS bin.
I guess I'm just too spoiled and tainted by Modern Warfare 2.
I always seem to have a good time with Splash Damage games, and this one looks like a great next step. I'm really digging the objective system thingy, that looks cool. I wonder, when you pick an objective, if it becomes unavailable to other players... A bunch of people fighting over the same 300xp objective might get in the way of actually having fun.
Okay, here's the vibe I'm getting after seeing that - A colorful Killzone 2 mixed with Borderlands-style gameplay. What do you guys think? How accurate is that description?
@100eyes: The only thing I caught was that the guns sound lame. What? The guns sound freaking amazing, they nailed it perfectly, they actually went out and recorded dozens of guns shooting. The guns in MW2 sound lackluster.Sometimes they sound good sometimes they don't , and especially when you put a suppressor the guns sound like toys.
