The vertical nature of the iPhone seems perfect for this but touch controls are just.. eh... Maybe a good game for that iCade add on if that thing even works.

Bullets. Bullets everywhere!

Course what they don't mention is the fact that their charging $12 for a 15+ year old arcade game with more than likely less than ideal touch controls. That might work if they re-released it via XBLA much like Raystorm HD (which is lame because Rayforce is pretty great).

The last thing I want to do is play a bullet hell shooter with my finger blocking my view, but to be fair I've never played it and don't know if it's that type of game or not

Is there anything more awesome than that Rayforce song? Almost want to buy for that alone.

I have this on Sega Saturn.

The input lag is low on these devices, having vertical display for an option is great, but touch input still sucks. I've played a bunch of shooters on my Android devices and tried some Cave games on an 3GS and an iPhone4, and no thanks. Especially for prices like that.
 
Of course, if I had an Xperia Play.. that could be used vertically..

Not a game I would wanna play with touch controls.

Incredible game, much better than any of Cave's shooters.

I cant imagine that an iphone version will be the ideal way to play it. The japanese saturn version is dirt cheap

Screw the app store. Give us an XBLA and PSN release!
