Wow, that's some poor decision-making on that Injustice box-art. It should have just been the main cast in place of that one, then the DLC smaller underneath.

I like that the name badges say "GiantBombs".

So if most of those games have 40GB minimum installs, and assuming the OS takes up some amount of space, that 500 GB drive really isn't going very far assuming you want to put any PSN content on there too. Hopefully the play while you install stuff works well. Hopefully the PS4 Slim has a 4TB drive or something.

Edit: I realize you can upgrade the hard drive, but that adds $100-$200 to the price tag depending on the size. It makes me not want to buy the first model thinking about it, because it'll be the same price or cheaper for way more storage among other benefits if it follows the PS3 pattern.

Dang that is a sleek-looking monster. Shame about the cables, though. Putting the install requirements on the back of the box will be super-handy going forward, especially with such large install sizes.

As they said in the video and like the PS3 you can swap out the HDD for a bigger one yourself. Think of this as a 'to get you started' HDD. That will at least last you for the next 3 - 6 months, depending on how many games you actually buy and play.

Huh they actually released Injustice on PS4? Well I guess that game will have one more month of life before dying then, but now in 1080P I imagine.

edit: If they are using the standard 3-ring connector for headsets then there's a chance my AKG-K451s might work. Awesome.

From my uneducated uncouth point of view it seems to be ok? Quite surprised by the video quality of the iPhone 5 (tm) camera.

The stand looks a bit like a joke... compared to a ~400 USD device the stand looks like it costs 5 USD or something like that and the fact that the device doesn't sit flat on the ground... that is just a shame.

@razielcuts: I don't know how open Sony has been about that stuff, do you know? To me it seems like doing that could void all kinds of warranty. Hell I have an external usb HDD from WD, it is a metal case with a usb connector and a power socket and opening that case to get at the standard Caviar green inside voids the warranty. Feels like opening up a console would be even more likely to do that.
