Hmm, this could be pretty fun, but I also want to play this game for myself. Guess I'll hold off on watching this.

I know, Austin checks chat occasionally so I really hope he sees this and maybe try to not check in as much in later episodes. With many months ahead of future parts the audience knows a lot about this game and will probably be a nightmare zone during certain parts that seem innocent but will illicit open season for troll spoilers. Just fair warning, I'm sure he realizes this anyway.

I really hope they finish playing through Life is Strange, I was not expecting to like it as much as I did GUD GAME.

Vinny calling it a murder bathroom knowing what comes next ... so so funny. I almost think they had to tell him what comes next but I hope not.

Yes! Absolutely continue with Life Is Strange you guys. You're already intrigued by the characters and story set up and it only gets better from here.

Some of the choices and twists in later episodes is going to make you guys really love this game. The ending of episode 3 literally left me speechless.

Phantasmagoria 2 is great and all, but this is a relevant game that I'd love to see you three fall in love with and go to bat for it during the GOTY discussions. I definitely don't see it going over with the SF guys on getting it on the top 10, but it'd be nice to at least hear it discussed.

I wish the lip sync was the only awful thing in this game.

Much like until dawn I'm interested to see all of this game but I don't want to actually play it.

I watched half of this on the livestream, maybe I'll watch the rest here, I don't know, this game has so many problems I'm afraid even GBEast can't make it interesting enough to watch. And this is coming from someone who never misses GBEast content.

Contradiction and Until Dawn were funny to watch because they were "bad" on purpose, the first one was evoking old FMV games and were completely in on the jokes and Until Dawn, even with it's flaws, was funny to watch and definitely had that 80s slasher film vibe into it. The same things can't be said for Life Is Strange. This game is a mess on so many levels I don't even know where to start and they're pretentiously trying to pass it as something that it isn't. The plot holes and the twists are so obvious and predictable even M. Night Shyamalan couldn't make it worse. There's some things I don't like that I have no problem saying "ok, I don't like this but I know it's good and I can see why people enjoy it", but with Life Is Strange the only thing I can think of is "how could someone even think that this could be a GOTY contender?!?" Seriously, if I had Max's powers I would go back in time to stop Dontnod from making this game. (I enjoyed Remember Me, btw).

So, obviously I vote for playing something else, even though I know I'm alone on this one.

I feel that this game is maybe a bit too new to be played through on the site? MGS5 gives me some of the same discomfort, but it at least has the expectation of Drew playing through the whole series.

As Jeff so famously said in the quick look for this game at about 7 min, "AHHH NIGHTMARE PEOPLE, ALL THESE PEOPLE ARE NIGHTMARE PEOPLE"

Also, is it just me or does that Janitor Samuel at 1:03~ minutes look just like Alex in that NBA game [the create a character] but with different hair?

Please continue playing this game. I really want to see what terrible decisions they make. I love this game, but it's kinda tough on the heart sometimes. LOL

Pretty glad you guys are playing this. I loved the first episode, and bought the season pass on 2 different platforms, but never got around to playing anything past the first episode. Please make me realize why I've been lazy. <3

@quicklier: Oh duder if you've got the other eps you should really give them a spin. The crazy shit doesn't even start popping off until the end of the second episode! The entire second act (from end of ep2 through 4) has been fantastic.

This made for an interesting watch. I'd love to see the rest of it.

Definitly continue this as much as I would love to see phantasmagoria 2 this first. Hopefully I can find the thread...

I plan on playing this after all the episodes are out (which is soon). After playing The Walking Dead and The Wolf Among Us, I find that I enjoy these types of episodic adventure games the most when I can play all the episodes back to back, rather than weeks or months apart.

I feel like we would be doing a disservice to Gbeast if we didn't take another look at Life is Strange. So far it's very entertaining and the guys seem to really enjoy it as well.

They also played Until Dawn. If people don't want to be spoiled they can just not watch the video. As Jeff said at their stand up show....thing they tried to wait and not do new games on videos but no one cared and in some cases people were being paid to do playthroughs of games so fuck it.

Oh wow, this is awesome. I just played through the available episodes a couple weeks ago and completely fell in love with this game. It's been a long time since a game has given me such an emotional gut-punch. The beginning of Episode 4, especially. Man. I got legit choked up.

Play this game to completion. The game's really awesome.

This isn't FMV or anime, but okay I guess. For sure keep playing it, but FMV or anime needs to happen.

As a person that has watched every episode of Degrassi: The Next Generation I can say that this isn't far off.

I wish Vinny played this game with some care, he is trying too hard to entertain (spinning the MC around, talking over important dialog and skipping important objects). This is a good game, and I hope he can entertain and show interest in the plot as these games are heavily narrative driven.

Vinny is our hero.

Pretty cool watching this again after playing it when it came out, especially seeing the guys reaction to that one particular character considering the end of episode 4. Also Vinny being Vinny. Always great.

Bought on launch. Played through the first episode. Was really excited by it... haven't touched any of the episodes since. Game has a lot of serious problems and while I like Dontnod, really hate contributing to things the Burches have a hand in.

The bad writing doesn't help, even though I try to mitigate my frustration with it by believing "it's intentionally like that, because this is supposed to be like a film from a specific time period; not real life from a specific time period".

If you stop now it would basically just be another quick look. The real worth of this thing is if you do a full play through. So do that :)

This game gets so freaking good, the finale is less than a week away!

I fully vote that you play through the whole thing. I love how this game look. It's awesome, fuck the haters.

This was very entertaining and I hope you continue playing, but man, some of the dialogue in this game is cringe-inducing.

It's legitimate to play this game straight or totally rip the piss out of it, the game works either way, for me Life is Strange is well within one of the top 10 games of 2015.

BTW: What's with Navarro hating on poor Warren?

Gonna be disappointed if GBEast ends up dropping this.
