Thank you so much for continuing with this game. I've really been enjoying watching it and your running commentary. :)

I had to buy the game after watching these. It's a testament to how well made it is that I've finished episode one with the GBeast choices reasonably clear in my mind but things still felt fresh.

Alex's comment about that dude being a Sons of Anarchy extra nearly got me killed when I was watching this in the library.

At the end in my playthrough there was an extra question, probably because I got an answer wrong. The answer to that extra question required you to have looked in the Bible in Kate's room.

Glad to see they are enjoying it. I just started on the game myself last Sunday and currently on episode 4. End of episode 3 was quite something and I am sure episode 4 will have some moments too. Really enjoying it myself.

Does anyone else feel that LiS is hugely let down by the first episode?

I played it when it came out and found it to be incredibly cringe-worthy and out of touch, Especially whenever Hipster-Teacher was around.

However After seeing GBeast play into ep2 I fell in love with the game and I'm installing episode 2-5 now so I can play for myself.

I'm happy they are back playing LiS

I was piss off with that skip. I'll follow the Playdate

Man, I REALLY hope they finish this. The game becomes absolutely insane in the last 2 chapters.

@infamousonager: I played all the episodes last week, and I was in the same boat to begin with. There is a lot of setup in ep1 and ep2 and it was hit-and-miss with dialogue, but boy the next 3 episodes are absolutely amazing. Turned into one of my favorite games this year.

It is NOT a french team writing this. The writer lives in San Francisco and is a native English speaker. They explained that eight months ago, just after episode one came out.

People keep over thinking why teenage kids talk like teenagers not like David Mamet dialogue. Teenage kids OFTEN DO talk oddly and are very uncool...stop overthinking because ist leads to silly assumption like some French person wrote this when that was NOT the case at all

@infamousonager: I had the exact same reaction. Episode 1 feels extremely weak, but 2 - 5 are really strong. I did a complete 180 on it. It's up there for my personal game of the year, going back and forth between LiS and MGS V.

Oh, well shoot. I haven't checked on this site to see if it was fixed, but the last one they uploaded didn't play, or when it did, it would stop five seconds in on the auto quality. So now, I'm going back and watching it on YouTube, and then I'll come back here to watch this one. I kind of hope they finish this since they started it. Life is Strange was pretty good, though leading up to the final chapter, even though I was still interested, I just wanted to take the thing off my system already since it had been on there since the beginning of this year.

I was hoping for more Phantasmagoria 2.

Good grief, this game is such garbage. It's like, the basic concept is cool, with the small-town teen life and weird super powers, but the execution, the writing, the way the characters are done, the sequence of events, terrible. Awful. They're definitely going for something with it, but I don't think they're pulling it off at all.

Phantasmagoria 2 had ghost monitors punching Ned Flanders in the face and the possessed rat and flesh puzzles. If they never finish that one, I want to find a copy and play it myself.

I love that Austin always says "Yeah, rip."

I really, really want you guys to pick up something different for this series... Last week's episode was so good.

I remember Patrick writing an article about the end of episode 2 so I knew what was coming. I was a little curious how they would handle Kate for the rest of the series following that event. Sticking her in a hospital makes sense as a way to basically remove her, I guess, but I hope at some point a game can be more ambitious with possible big changes like that.

This is a cool game, even if everyone is kinda the worst, and I wouldn't want to experience it any other way.

Kinda disappointed they went back. Oh well.

They're continuing it as a "Playdate" feature, which they previously used for Contradiction and Until Dawn. The only thing of real note with that is that those are premium episodes.

@infamousonager: It certainly took the game a bit to get going early on, but the pacing is very deliberate overall and I think that's what makes the overall product so effective. The finale of episode 2 doesn't work for instance without a lot of buildup. But yeah I would say the game's production quality starts really picking up after episode 2.

You guys gotta get the other episodes played before game of the year deliberations. No one in in San Francisco will be talking about it... so it falls to YOU! Fantastic game.

Just finished the episode and loved it! This stuff goes places i think you guys will enjoy it so keep going. Beat it before the end of the year so you can argue for it in GOTY category awards that would be sweet.

Every time Vinny says "Austin Walker" I hear "Awesome Walker." Which is still valid, I guess.

EDIT: I think I'd like this game a lot more if Max wasn't voiced so milquetoast.

REDTIT: Someone needs to smack some sense into Chloe. It seems she constantly gets herself in over her head, and the GB crew is bizarrely indulgent.

So this is EP2 and there are five total? Alright, cool, be back here for the start of a different game then. I know people like it, but damn if this doesn't seem like some overhyped stuff to me. If the information around the always happy internet is to be believed, it presumably gets even more absurd and full of itself as time I goes on.

It seems like it would be a good idea for Vinny, or whoever else has access to the tools, to put links to the rest of the videos since they aren't exactly named well.

This game continues to be far more interesting than the quality of some of its writing would suggest.

I have fantastic news for you if GBeast doesn't follow through.

Vinny is the best, and exactly how I wanted that situation to play out.

It gets me every time. His commitment to that bit is incredible.
