Deus Ex: Human Revolution Reveal Trailer

...Hopefully this isn't going to be Invisible War all over again. 

It looks cool, but having never played a Deus Ex game I have nooooooooo idea what's going on here.

I wear sunglasses at night because they're PART OF MY FACE.

Cool trailer, but I'm already worried about how it will turn out because Square Enix is involved.

I don't know, from that video it looks like a massive departure from what I love about Deus Ex.. 
 
I guess over time when we know more I'll be able to form a better opinion.

This game is a prequel to the first Deus Ex so there is gonna be a stylistic difference.  It is gonna be a time period before Nano Augmentations so you will see alot of half cyborg folks kinda like Guntherr Herman from the first game.

Make the RPG customization as deep as the first one and we'll talk.

Awesome. I love cyberpunk.

The original Deus Ex is one of my absolute favorite games. I am beyond excited for this, but I really just hope it's more like the first than Invisible War. Liked the trailer a lot, and that cityscape looks very cool and kind of what I want from another Deus Ex game in terms of setting and feel.

Hm.  After Deus Ex 2, I'm cautiously optimistic. 

Haven't quite finished the first one, but I'm leaning towards thinking that it's the longest game I've ever played. I'm really hoping this keeps the rpg elements going the same way. If not, there's really no reason to even bring this back.

When did Gordon Freeman get robotic arms? Not a bad thing, just curious. Anyways, trailer's pretty and, having never played a Deus Ex game, I find myself interested.

Man, that first Deus Ex game was really good. 

Based on the interview with the developers they're using Deus Ex 1 as their main guideline, instead of the inferior DE2.
They also mentioned having the menu system from DE1, equal diversity in mods and big levels like the hong kong one in DE1.

I actually believe this game can be good.

I've never played a Deus Ex game, but it is my understanding that the first one was good. I'll be interested to see whats up with this one. 

I'm tired of everybody always freaking out over the Square-Enix logo at the beginning.... People need to understand that SE bought Eidos.... This game is developped by Eidos-Montreal and was in developpement long before SE took over Eidos. Square doesn't have anything to do with the game except that they will be publishing it. 
 
It's not like the game is suddenly made by the guys over in Japan who are normally working on Final Fantasy...

Judging by that beard, Deus Ex 3 is going to be one helluva game.

Guys, seriously, the Square Enix logo is nothing to worry about anymore. Don't forget that they are also publishing Just Cause 2. It's not like the FF team is managing Eidos right now and JC Denton has a cameo as a spiky haired blond 19 year old.
 
I'm more worried about how they will handle customization. I really hope skills and augments are separate this time.

Either way, AUGUST, I agree with RCW. It's way too literal, as if no one but them could understand what 'that dude with them wings' stood for.  The stuff right after, however, was awesome to the 'n'th degree: hopefully the gameplay also features crazy-ass transformations. I, for one, did NOT see the shades coming from the sides of his eyes. Also, I dig the art style. Lovin' it. "

The magic that is the first Deus Ex game (and, alright, the second. I actually liked Deus Ex 2) will never be recreated. But I will still totally play this.

I like the fact that the guy's arms weren't fucking huge, they looked real, well, in a metallic kind of way.

I'm down.

Hope this is good.  Dues Ex was one of those games everyone seemed to love.  I felt like I should like it, but just didnt do it for me.  Hope they go heavy on the RPG side, or more then they have.
