I never played the first one and really don't know much about this one, but I've heard good things and the trailers I've seen make it look pretty great too.

Is a good time to be a gamer; strong releases all the way into next summer O_O

I really should get around to playing the first one.

If i where a mobster I would find a new profession unless they liked having several of there body parts dismembered.

I feel like Move controls should be implemented somehow, but I have no idea how they'd differentiate between moving the arms while also aiming your guns.

That splash screen was pretty radical!

Looks pretty good. I enjoyed the first one, hopefully this one is even better.

Hell yeah some more Darkness. Looks like they made the gameplay even more satisfying really, now it all hangs on the story of this one.

I love how the dude impaled on a ticket meter changes model when he gets hit.

I feel the same. Plus, Digital Extremes have hardly had a stellar track record this gen... I wish the old Starbreeze still had the rights to this :(

I don't know how this could work well. Plus I hate how much of the screen those things take up.

For some reason this just looks unplayable to me. I'll give it a chance though, cause if it does work, seems like it could make for some interesting combat.

I really like where this is headed. The comic-styled visuals, the sped up combat, the crazy cult.. it's all looking good so far

Thanks for this awesome article GB! I loved the original 'The Darkness' and I am really looking forward to this one.

The wishbone rip in this game is probably my favourite so far, hope there's finishing moves that have yet to be revealed as I don't want these trailers spoiling it all.
