Looks pretty good. However, the last few NFS games had previews that looked good, and they sucked. What a shame.

i love the sound
been missing that is most games, not just racing games

the weak sounds (everything equally weak) is killing me
(example) the ambassador in tf2 was announced like a canon, a BIG gun ... it's not that big, and it's sound doesn't have any personality

this for saying : gj EA, shift is really appealing

looks good.  I will definitely consider picking this up.  Does anyone know if this has a date yet? If it comes out around Forza 3 its gonna have to go on the back burner for a bit.

EDIT:  Hmm it does come out around Forza, well its out before it so I may still pick it up.

I don't think they got the cockpit view very well
You can't see enough, the interior of the car takes up half the screen

That's the first thing I noticed was the sound, pretty awesome..

Wasn't too jazzed at first when I heard the series was going this route but now looking forward to more

Man holy crap the sound is amazing, the way the brakes squeal and the way the transmission whines, very authentic touch indeed.

This is what happens when a very good studio of a great yet less known franchise gets bought by a big studio, reshuffles them and makes them work on a very well known and kinda stale franchise. PURE AWESOMENESS

ofcourse, theres also the sad part that friends from the old team have to part ways and work on different things. Also the franchise they loved the most will now not be the same... oh well.. thats life I guess :P

Sure its made by SimBin but its not a fullon sim like they normally do, its like a sim for those who are sim curious lol

Mostly because of the amount of contact the cars seem to make in the movie...its quite a lot for professional racing...

Question:
Why is it that in cockpit view the camera is always fixed to what is in front of the car? In real life you anticipate by turning your head towards the corner/road in which you are headed. By doing so you can see what is coming and anticipate. It would help a lot if the camera is aimed at where your headed instead of being fixed of what is in front of you...

A little more ramming than normal :) But still probably the racing game perspective I've been waiting for ever since I knew about racing games.

@ApplePI: Hmm like most games it'll probably have a look left and right button or something. Its still not a great solution but Im yet to think of a better one (dont say head tracking! lol)

Then itll either be really hard to steer (you dunno how mush youll need to) or, if the car automatically steers where youre facing, youll just steer straight.

It looks impressive, but my shit gets wrecked when I drive in-cockpit, unless you have several screens showing you a panoramic view it just doesn't work.

Thank god it has a guy at the start to tell you that the lights have turned green and that you should go. I never know what to do at the start of the race but now I'll have that constant reminder.

Also, notice how after the contrived crash sequence (which seems to be the game's main selling point), the spectators behind the rails are still clapping as though nothing happened.

It looks fun, but way too much like GRID.  So much that I wouldn't be surprised if they simply looked at GRID and said "Go make that game."

Yes, nothing gets me more angry than demos of games at E3.

I was poking fun at the demo buddy, no cause for alarm.

Cockpit view is the way to go... And I hope this has mouse steering, because I'm not spending money on a wheel for a game. This is gonna be 10% NFS, 91% GTR.     hopefully :D
