Jeff and Ed discuss the details of the next Mortal Kombat, including its naming convention.

I straight up thought Scorpion was going to come to life and kill them at the end when the light died.

Great interview! Jeff and Ed make a great team. I'm still pretty hyped for this game.

I enjoyed both Injustice and MK 9 and I can't wait to play this one. I'm not really into fighting games either but there is just something about the NetherRealm games that hook me.

I love when Jeff interviews Ed, always a good time.
great interview. ed is such a great guy. i'm not a big fan of the crazy super fast zooms though.

Man, that ending. XD
The game looks great, I just have serious doubts on how well the online systems will work. Injustice and MK9 have serious issues online (PC, 360 and PS3)

Great interview Jeff, thanks Ed.
I'm really interested in the changes from 9, I hope it feels as good as the last Mortal Kombat because that game was tight.

Mortal Kombat and Giant Bomb are the best things, so I enjoyed this video.

HE SAID APRIL, SHUT IT DOWN!!
Ed Boon is a rad dude.

Man, Ed Boon is just the coolest, most pro cat around. Nobody is more chill and on point that him.

I was hoping for Ed Boon to be on the live show, And for someone to ask if MKX has any hope of getting passed the Australian classification board, or just say fuck it..
Well one way or another the future will show the answers.

Ed is such a cool guy. Great interview
Great interview Jeff. Ed Boon remains as cool as ever. Looking forward to seeing more of the game.
Why is callous gore tolerated but not casual sex?

Ed and Jeff always have great interviews.
MKX, powered by Goro-tech.
Ed Boon is a cool dude.
I'm just imagining as a fatality Sonya pulls Cassies arm off, slaps her in the face with it, and says "GO TO YOUR ROOM!!"
Ed Boon is awesome.

God, I love it when Ed Boon and Jeff do interviews. Ed Boon just seems a like genuinely good guy, even though he makes the most vicious games.

I loved the heck out of Mortal Kombat 9, especially the story mode. Liking a lot of the new characters, Cassie seems like she'll be cool to play.
Super excited for X.
X gonna give it to you.
@itwastuesday: Refering specifically to Tobias from Animorphs naturally
Good to see Ed recovered from the Lang Zone.

Ed seems like such a great guy. It's so funny how he is nice and pleasant and then all the fatalities are so gruesome. Really looking forward to this next year!
@sanj: I was expecting that too. I'm guessing it was Drew or Vinny who threw the buzzer sound just for fun effect.
Ed seems like a cool guy, and he's still super enthusiastic about his work. Game looks rad. Good stuff all around.
I hope Sonya returns, i'd also like to know if the team are making efforts to improve the netcode over MK9 and Injustice which were both... functional, but not as good as every other fighting game these days. Also Ed carefully didn't mention PC, it does seem like this is coming to PC but that still made me sad, seems like a publisher decision more than the creators :(.
Love Ed Boon! At work right now but I am going to watch this when I get home or on my lunch break.

It wouldn't feel like E3 if Jeff didn't talk MK with Ed Boon at some point.
Did anyone get a number count on how many times Ed Boon said "you know"?
Jeff can you find out if the 2 v 2 tag mode is in? Playing that with three friends made MK9 one of the greatest multiplayer experiences I ever had.
Interview straight from Boontown.
Am I weird for thinking Ed Boon kind of looks like an older Drake?
Stamina meter isn't necessary for dash-run. Lots of fighting games have runs in this way without any need for a stamina bar to regulate it.
Call me crazy, but i think they know what they are doing.
@ssully: You'd be surprised.

Ed is a cool dude and it's always nice to hear him talk about something he's clearly passionate about. Jeff knows his stuff and always does a good interview with him. The game looks gorgeous but I just don't play fighting games. All the best to them though. Looking forward to the quick look next year.

Most hyped game!
Sounds like there's a Realm vs Realm meta game in the Online..or something along those lines
Ed, please... Take my money.
Gotta say as a suuuuper casual fighting game fan. (i really like to watch people who are good at them play, but suck ass myself) MK9 was the one game I bought in years, specifically because it had a significant and approachable singleplayer campaign to dig into. So i'll be picking this one up too.
Yup pretty much the same for me! I also love how MK is one of the few fighting games that even non-gamers can actually enjoy/join in without feeling shitty when you beat them to a pulp. Because it looks so damn awesome when you beat them to a pulp, nobody really minds losing all the time as people are too busy being shocked/in awe of the cinematic and gory moves.
Jeff + Ed always fun to watch them :D
