E3 2018: Daemon X Machina Serves Up Some Heavy Metal Mecha

We may not be getting more Armored Core, but the designers of Armored Core do seem to be getting work!

Oh FUCK Shoji Kawamori did the mech designs? I am ALL IN.

Also, until the logos at the end I legit thought this was gonna be a Platinum game from the style and music.

2018

Year of the Mech!

I looked up who the two directors were for this game (Ken Awata & Ken Karube) and they were the director and chief designer for Monster Hunter Stories, another game made by Marvelous that has amazing cel-shaded visuals. The visuals also remind me a lot of Capcom's EX Troopers, which I believe shared some staff with Monster Hunter Stories as well.

Armored Core 2.0. Looks like just a new and improved version of the Armored Core. Very awesome. Very excited for this.
