This trailer is honestly cool as hell. I love it

Way too many particles getting in the way of the actual gameplay. Aside from the flashy graphical veneer, this doesn't appear to be reinventing Tetris in any radical new way we haven't seen done before, either.

@shtinky: If you go the site it discusses the modes, including ones similar to the tournament mode they use in Japan. The addition here seems to play in sync with music and visuals to stimulate more regions of the brain. Purity of play has its place, but life is about more than precision and high score. Sometimes fun is just fun.

This may be the first hing I've seen from E3 but, damn ... it might be best.

I'm now excited. i want it.

Can't fault them the grandiosity, that trailer was effective as hell. I'm looking forward to a Tetris game in 2018.

Also, as a fan of electronic music of around 2010 give or take a few years, as the narrator reached the end of his spiel I was overwhelmed by a primal urge to 'wait for the drop'*. Can't wait for the Knife Party remix.
