E3 2018: Noita's Simulated Pixels Are Beautiful and Disastrous

This sounds like my dream game.

The art style really reminds me of Liero in a weird way. Or more specifically, the way that fire, destruction and projectiles seem to behave in this. I thought the guy behind that game, Joosa Riekkinen, would be involved in this but apparently not. Maybe the developers just played a ton of that game when they were kids, like me, and it got ingrained in them.

Oh, also, noita is just Finnish for witch.

Looks pretty damn cool, reminds me of Risk of Rain a lot.

I've been wondering for years when something like this would come along as a "next-gen" feature, instead of upgraded graphics all the time... and it isn't even on a console lol.
