My ps3 died after finishing this game, and I bought the season pass. Sigh.

Isn't this just the comic book prequel?

This seems like it's sort of pushing the "We aren't going to give you any information, go tell people about us!" trailer scheme a little far. Admittedly, I am excited. :P

Though the Ellie sections were the coolest part of The Last of Us. I really didn't care for that game much once it decided to be a Naughty Dog game an hour or two in.

Well, glad I just got a $5 PSN credit. The Last of Us isn't an easy game to play (in a good way), but it's certainly captivating as all hell.

This DLC will surely be sad!

So... we already know how this will end, right?

I am excited for this.

I loved The Last of Us and can't wait for this. It and the Uncharted games made Naughty Dog one of my favorite developers out there right now.

The most exciting announcement at the PS4 launch event was DLC for a PS3 game...

Awesome! I really wanted to know more about Ellie and her friend before the events of the game.

I'm super saddened by the fact that when I bought my second hand PS3 it was sold by an individual who had got his console band from PSN, so I can't play this no matter how much I would like to!!!!

Errr... huh, admittedly not what I was expecting. But hey more The Last of Us and all so can't complain. This must also mean there won't be any combat, or least not against any humans then... right? I haven't read the comic, but I'm relatively sure that guy Ellie kills to stop him from drowning Joel was her first.

I love TLOU but I think it's weird that they did this previous part as DLC. As far as I know Ellie never really fought anyone before the events of TLOU, so what is the gameplay gonna be like? Just walking around/running away?

I kinda thought Naughty Dog had said that the DLC would have a completely new cast of characters, though I guess they might have been referring to the sequel.

In any case, I'm not sure I even want to play this, as I felt the ending to The Last of Us was basically perfect. I guess in that way, it can be detrimental to make a game too good.

Well... this is just about the most disappointing turn of events this could have taken. If it really is just the comic book content.

More TLoU so woohoo, but god damn is this not what I wanted from them for DLC. This one specific part of Ellie's story was thoroughly broken down both in the comic prequel and the main game. There is nothing to gain from this. You know what's way easier and way more interesting and hasn't already been shown? What those 'horrible things' were that broke Tommy and Joel apart during their time together after the outbreak. I would be far more interested in seeing that than this other story we already know.

They did say it would star a new character, but they must have meant within the context of the video game, if Ellie's best friend is shown in the comic. Still a little lame, though.

I liked playing as Joel more than Ellie, but this will do. I didn't read the comic so at least it'll be fresh to me.
