Damn, Valve's offices look more like some crazy Gabe-worshiping cult dwelling than a video game developer's buliding. I'm surprised bodies don't mysteriously turn up around there with hundreds of knife holes in them and their hearts missing.

I think he's just sarcastic by nature. Atleast when I'm throwing out jokes and stuff I stay serious. Most of the time only my friends know when I'm joking. By the impression I've gotten in different interviews, I'm pretty sure that is his case too.
