I do love some Spelunky. Prettier graphics and achievements is more than a good enough excuse for me to actually pay something for it.

FINALLY! Fuck, I thought this would never be released.

I've been playing Spelunky using the comfy couch method, but I'm really excited for this console version.

also too bad at the end he didn't get the girl. also the multiplayer looked kind of like Rocket Riot at the end. also GOTY.

Freeware Spelunky is one of the best platformers i've ever played, I'll definitely be getting this.

Except for the obvious similarity in the name, I think that these games are completely different.

Well this game is obviously inspired by the original Spelunker along with La-Mulana and Cave Story, among other games. And no, people did not ignore that game (which is pretty different) it is just a 2+ year old game, where as this version is being released in five days. Though I believe Giant Bomb never covered that game sadly, because it is a gem.

This is a timed 360 exclusive anyway and will be on PC eventually.
