Guitar Hero 5 Wii Interview

I've never been a total fan of the Wii versions of GH, I know its not really about the graphics but in general - other friends with Wiis are totally not into music games. :-/

Obviously you guys are afraid of eye contact typically. With him talking to the camera, it felt more like a conversation. Come on, learn to handle eye contact. 
 
I'm glad Vicarious Visions is really pushing the envelope on the Wii. Someone  needs to, and I'm glad it's the talented V.V. who are doing it. Why aren't people commenting on the mega-ton dropped here? NO FRIEND CODES!!

That was the creepiest interview I've ever seen. While editing this video I bet the GB guys laughed. A lot.

This is actually pretty fucking cool; the mega-ton drop may have been no friend codes, but the mega-ton punch was that you can play the drums without a drum kit.
I may actually buy this game (my first Guitar\Band game) simply because I won't have to have goofy plastic instruments in my studio (0 bedroom apartment). ...If only this was true with Beatles Rock Band, it'd be a sure buy.

Hmm, but how much do I want to bet that the graphics will still look atrocious? Not that it's too big a deal, but it does get a little annoying when the graphics look flat-out terrible on Wii while looking sharp and fantastic on 360 and PS3. Wii is capable of decent graphics, at least. Hey, one great bit of news here is importing songs from previous GH games, that's actually really cool. I wish Rock Band 2 had that feature.

DS download play sounds really cool. Kinda crazy that they're really the first ones to do that between DS and Wii (not including games that require DS cards). Shows just how lazy Nintendo can be as a first party developer.

Sounds like an awesome game for people getting it on the Wii.

It's good to see a company not actively shitting on core gamers with a Wii release.
 
There need to be more companies like Vicarious Visions.

i think the main thing about the wii that sucks is the audio quality, you cant have dolby digital

He said the wii version is on parody with the Xbox 360 and PS3 versions, heh at least they admit it!

What are you talking about?  He was having a conversation with Ryan, not with you...  Eye contact with a computer screen isn't real eye contact, sorry to break it to you. I'm glad you felt like you were engaged in a conversation with him though, that must have been exciting for you.  "
