Looking at the in game trailer my mind was blown, the graphics and new look had a great first impression on me. Now looking at people play the game I'm realizing why I stopped playing Rock Band, you kind of look stupid playing it... Not that I'm too cool to look stupid I just don't wanna pay another $60-199 to look stupid in a new way...

I think that was their version of the string guitar. Looks like it still uses the same strumming technique as old rock band guitars...guess when they say basics it is only fret-work.
