I've never cared about wrestling (games)... until now. Damn you, Dan and Jeff!

No doubt it looks good, but I think a lot of ppl are uneasy that little to no gameplay being shown/talk of modes are out there. And Hogan saying "It's unbelievable dude." Isn't really reassuring.

GiantBomb actually has me wanting to play a wrestling game. What is happening in my life.

Last time I watched/heard/read about this much hype with the amount of mocap done and how realistic the game looks was WWE Wrestlemania 21 for the original Xbox. Fell for that type of hype once before, not gonna fool me twice.

Will wait for the Quick Look before making any judgements.

If this leads to Damien Sandow coming out in a mocap suit on Raw one week, it will all be worth it

I know right , this is the first time I'm getting a wrestling game .

Cesaro giving an uppercut in that suit is one of the best things I've ever seen.

Yeah, that's me. Looks good, but sure seems to still be a WWE game playing the same it always has with a couple of gimmicky modifications here and there that they try every year. Definitely not something I'd be picking up at launch. Let's get some real feedback.

I hope one of the dlc packs features The GFB. That's the only thing that would make this game an instabuy.

The Cena, Orton, and Goldust models look great, but how is the Daniel Bryan hair technology??

What? A game on new, updated hardware is going to look better than any of the games on lesser platforms? GET OUT OF TOWN! And I can imagine that the announcing is going to be fucking awful as usual. But I'll be downloading it on the 28th regardless.

LMAO. I love that they motion captured the damn belt. That's hilarious and awesome.

It was comical to hear that guy at the end say it's a completely different game. Yeah, sure. Just like Madden is completely different every year.

Don't tell me that the announcing is improved and then show me Michael Cole in the recording booth.

Also, Cesaro is getting a bigger push in a mo-cap suit than he is inside the company he works for.

I like that star guy solely from his interview with Dan.

Which means I want to play this game. For the star guy.

This looks genuinely interesting. It feels like every year one of the most common comments is, 'they need to get dudes mocapping more stuff because their animations have been the same for ages'. And if that mocap work is being done by wrestlers as technically proficient as Cesaro, that's even better.

Plus this game looks great visually, it really does. And some neat animation touches too. Don't forget that this is the first proper year under the new team, so it'll be really interesting to see what 2K have brought to the table. I enjoyed last year's offering but I'm ready for some updated wrasslin' business.

THQ/Yuke's used to have indie wrestlers from outside the WWE handle their mocap for a while. I believe Chris Hero, Evan Bourne, MVP and (I think) Sonjay Dutt were amongst them in recent times. Good to see they're working with more active superstars this time around so they can get every last detail about how those guys pull off their moves in there. I hope Ziggler mocapped this Stunner he pulled off at a house show recently.

Yeah. I love listening to the wrestling bombcast, but before star guy, I didn't care about any of the actual wrestling. What I'm saying is, star guy should get his own game because he looks all kinds of badass.
