Also the Batman vision is meant to communicate all that stuff. Everyone showing up in orange sees through your disguise and is hunting you if they are not a civilian. This orange status doesn't propagate very far and you can track who's affected with the Batman vision. Statuses like hunted and compromised are very local and only affect people showing up in orange and the people they interact with.

This was my 1st elusive target mission I have done, but remembering parts of the map helped me a lot with this too. Talk about quite the introduction. Really fun though!

As the briefing said they target brother would have a wristwatch I decided to store the silenced sniper rifle I unlocked in the apartment dropbox in case I had a use for it. I went and knocked out the waiter guy on the third floor so I could use his balcony as a sniper spot if need be. I then randomly ran into the brothers walking by an ice cream parlor. As they sat down at the table I noticed the wristwatch and also, just how prime of a sniping position I made in the apartment complex where my sniper rifle was. Sprinted my way to the apartment, removed the sniper rifle from the box, and ran up to the third floor. By the time I got there the brothers were starting to walk away from the table. I aimed at the brother who I remembered would be the one with the watch, as he was sitting facing the apartment and "one shot, one kill" dropped the gun in the apartment and casually walked out to the exit feeling like the badass the whole way. What a fun idea.

These are always so frustrating to watch. Brad, you need to listen to Dan more and think less. I think a lot of times these would end better without overthinking and wasting time during critical moments.

That went like I thought it would. Gary Busey has nothing to worry about.

I did exactly what Dan suggested and it worked fine. I ran down the alley and I was hunted but no one that cared to shoot found me until I got to the dock and I got on the boat easily

They had the right idea with the sniper rifle because a shot lines up perfectly from just about anywhere on the building at the start. Of course it's hard to know that they would sit in front of the ice cream shop.

Good thing they didn't go back to try and poison the wine glass at the wine shop. The Brother makes the other brother drink first before he drinks, so the mission would end there.

Oh Brad. If only you would listen to Dan

You could separate the brothers and twins by throwing stuff down the allyways to get them alone. It's how I got them, besides taking out the bodyguards first.

If that countdown clock at the menu is the global time (~65hrs left), I started this mission within minutes of Brad and Dan. Weird coincidence.

With so many places to hide and an alley on his right, after taking a shot, Brad decides to casually walk left to the middle of an open area... Why? WHY?! They were so close to do it this time.

It was possible to do this one pretty quickly, albeit perhaps in a less interesting way:

(Excuse the music; I was actually watching the GB Marrakesh pt. 2 video on my other screen, so the audio was far too confusing to keep.)

I had to make a quick judgement call – I was pretty certain I'd seen the watch poking out from under Dylan's sleeve, but it was quite hard to see through the scope, particularly with all that glare. That said, YouTube compression makes it look even less clear than it was.

I was going to change back into Agent 47's suit, but then I heard someone describing it over the radio. I presume that was a bug, since I did the assassination in the mansion security disguise, but I decided to play it safe and go with the chef costume (which meant I had to take the long way around to get to the car because of the woman below the balcony).

I would have preferred to take the shot from a balcony like @hott8bitaction described, but I didn't know where the twins' route would take them next, and I didn't want to pass up the opportunity to get it finished without having to trail them around for hours.

Hahaha, amazing. I keep planning on playing in a more brazen manner like that, but then my stupid stealth-brain steps in and insists on doing it the other way. The closest I've come is how I did the second training mission (after much rehearsal):

I think they'd class that against the spirit of the series, which I think is fair. I totally go back and replan, but there's definitely something to be said for forcing yourself to commit to your choices and trying to find a way to make them work, particularly since it forces them to look for other opportunities. With a game so full of options, missing out on some just means that you get to see what other ones unfold.

Coached my friend through this mission, stood in the ice cream shop basement throwing coins to attract the guards and the target. Lots of storage space there.

How can they still not understand how trespassing works? It literally says "Trespassing" on screen when the player trespasses. I feel like it's such a crucial part of this game, yet they are totally oblivious to it.

That thumbnail really caught me off guard. At first glance it was an unconscious bald man with his huge right breast hanging over his shirt.

From my experience they don't really. They walk around the map but go to the same few places again and again. When I did this mission they went to the exact same places (wine shop, pottery shop, ice cream cafe).

I love how Brad plays. It frustrates the hell out of me because it's exactly how I play. Risk averse!

LOL man. Brad you had a pistol. Keep your pistol out and start blasting!!! Could have potentially taken out the last guard Heat style.

Is hunted status really not global? Interesting. I have maybe 50-60 hours in the game and didn't know this.

I still think this Hitman content is some of the best Giant Bomb content ever created. I love these!

This was the only elusive I beat, too easy, looking forward to tagging Gary Busey in a few days though.

The Elusive Target videos that start every mission give hints as to where the target is. The brothers were near the water, hence....you should check it out.

@demus: After Brad and Dan bumble their way through the basement of the ice cream shoppe, they walked right past the twins who loop by there.

I can understand why Dave Lang found these videos so frustrating to watch, but of course when he says it they listen, when the GB audience says it we're being unreasonably harsh :-/
