Hitman: Elusive Target: The Twin

Yup, that's what, 2/2 missions where Brad fumbled for a throwable and died because of it.

edit: Now that I've calmed down, this was actually fairly smooth, all things considered. They did the Hitman thing of following the target to learn where they go, but only because the circumstances forced them to this time, esp after they bumbled right into them.

Much like the Forger, Brad killed the target. That's a win in his book.

@brad one more tip for you, drag the body away before you change disguises. You'll ruin the disguise immediately if someone finds you and the body so just drag it away first.

@cooljammer00: most of the time the community is, unduly i think. besides lang is their friend so he can get away with being a jerk (a little). everyone here does the same tired harping on "how bad brad is," which i don't see. keep in mind youre backseat playing, watching and noticing things he doesnt. also unlike him you've probably had the freedom to play it dozens or hundreds of more hours than him (i dont know HOW, but whatever). and im sure you and others make a bunch of boneheaded mistakes and take your ti- i mean hesitate a bunch. i guess it's brad's fault for putting less than stellar gameplay out there? people are being way too rough on him, and most of the comments i ever see about his playing ability veer way into either hyperbole and/or plain nastiness. not exactly helpful.

ive personally never, ever got how frustrated people get with watching someone play a video game. brad knows how to play the game, has a grasp on most of the mechanics and actually keeps things moving at a decent rate while being entertaining. but i guess that's not good enough for some.

I do think these two need to work out a game plan. Brad already tends to understandably tense up with info overload on QL's. Trying to decide if and then how he's going to implement Dan's advice has only gotten him to hesitate more and more. I think they need to really decide if Dan is coaching or not. Meaning decide from the get go if Brad is going to do any suggestion immediately, or ignore advice out of hand.

Stopping to decide only takes the mental focus away from the ability to formulate a plan based on the surroundings.

Should've listened to Dan.

Did anyone else see the twins a few minutes in. They walked out the ice cream shop as Brad was walking to the safe-house to enter the mansion.

Seriously...Why would you not have ran right away?...

5 months and Brad still doesn't know how to play this game. Maybe Dan with the controller next time would be more fun.

Why not at least try to find a more fun/interesting way to take him out? X(

Dan had mostly pretty good advice here and Brad should have just listened to him (the safest thing would have been to just go get the sniper and shot the guy from the balcony as soon as they saw them walking back towards the town square.

I love these Hitman videos. This one was especially intense.

Good thing Brad isn't a real hitman, I've never seen someone get so easily flustered before.

I love brad...but jeeeeeezzzzz.....thats painful to see him just sauntering away instead of running. He might have had this in the bag if he listened to Dan at the end. *Surprisingly*

That moment when you see the target walk past in the background while they talk obliviously, gold.

This was maybe one of the most hilariously infuriating things I have ever seen on GB.

It was never going to be a clean hit, but had Brad simply run the other way he'd probably had made it.

You get a suit for completing a certain number of elusive targets (5?).

Let's not forget that, like any good "coach", Dan is always calm and helpful under pressure.

This could not have ended any other way :)

I've watched every one of these videos and I'm still not convinced that Brad knows there is a little map in the lower left corner (where you can where people are and particularly if they're likely to be suspicious).

I really blew it in my attempt. I accidentally punched the woman next to me on the bench, and all hell broke loose.

If you're sincerely comparing me to "people who've gotten deep into Hitman" when I've said numerous times I've barely touched this game outside of the videos, uh, lol?

Dan's statement of "my memory wipes every fifteen minutes; I don't remember that." was so brilliantly self-aware.

Hurts me to admit this, but Dan was right.

I bet if they hurried they could have gotten to the safehouse balcony before he left the table.

As a real life hit man (shhhh don't tell anyone mmk?) I can definitively say Brad acted like a hit man should.

He followed his target closely. Took advantage of every opportunity. And when faced with real danger, just goddamn strutted away like a boss.

I'd like to see anyone else kill someone for money another way. You can't. Mission success.

I just shot the twin when I was standing next the getaway car, and drove off. Took me a half hour to get to that point, but still.

I can't believe Brad trespassed for no reason and punches a dude in the face and kills 3 unnecessary people for no reason not seconds after he chastised Dan for not taking the elusive target seriously. These guys are pretty bad at Hitman, lol.

Oh, dear brad. The number one thing that gets you in trouble or killed in almost every case in these hitman videos is your hesitation. If you're going to do something just go for it. The choice of execution was clumsy but Dan actually had the right idea there. Had you actually ran to the right down the alley you could have ran a number of different places or found a hiding spot to wait out the guards patrols.

Well that went about as well as expected!

@brad: If it's any consolation, I *am* pretty deep into Hitman and I basically did the exact same thing as you. I just got a bit luckier with the exit.

Is this the video where Dan said avocados are delicious? Anyway it was one of the recent videos and he said that so I thought I'd try one and perhaps find a new fruit I enjoy, but by god was I wrong. I cut one open and took one big spoon full and holy jamoley that has to be one of the worst tasting things I've put in my mouth in at least 10 years. Everything from the texture to the flavor was so immediately repulsive it had me rushing to the nearest bin get this devil fruit out of my mouth. NEVER AGAIN will avocado enter my body, under any circumstances. Why was there a whole crate of these things at the super market? Who the hell would choose to inflict this nightmare onto themselves? I can't for the life of me understand how anyone could enjoy that taste. BLECH.

@brad: We still love you, and if we wanted to see people do it perfectly we'd watch those Youtubers who save scumm their way through the game. That's not nearly as much fun.

I just wanna see you win at one of these, though! We're all rooting for you! And by win, we mean kill the target AND escape, not just kill the target and then die in a hail of gunfire in a panicked fiddling for a throwable object. Unfortunately, according to HITMAN, that doesn't count as beating it.

edit: Now that I read your comment, I'm not sure if you meant to [at] me at all. Either way, I'm super psyched you guys eventually realized you could get some hints from the opening videos, and you could follow the target around to see their loop without gaining suspicion.

@brad: I don't have enough time to spend on Hitman myself, plus of course I'm not broadcasting my attempt, but so far I completely messed up the first one and then have walked up to the others and shot them in the face before running for it. I had a perfect opportunity to take the twin out with sniper rifle but stupidly forgot to bring it as I had intended. Oh well!

Still, can't you even just write down some of the basic tips? It would serve you better then dan's advice.

Holy crap, "you know who" would not ever pull off a single objective if it weren't for Dan... or at least someone reminding him to think for a damn second every time something happens.

No Dan, we don't have open carry in Italy (and concealed carry is very limited). If anything, going around here with any type of gun would you bring you a fuckload of problems, like being mistaken for a memeber of organized crime, since we don't see any rational reason for why someone who is not up to something should go around with one.

And yes, gelato and icecream are the same thing here. "Gelato" would be literally translated to "freezed"
