I just about died when Brad decided to go through the attic with all of the suspicious guards to get the Kruger disguise again instead of going through the one room in front of him to get the disguise.

Brad would never have completed this with Dan. Jeff actually looks at the map and Brad never does and would never have found that room...

Brad and Jeff did very good in this one (this was one of the harder elusive targets), but I was compelled to make this just as a future public service announcement.

Was I the only one screaming at the screen when they decided to take the long way thru the guarded attic instead of thru the auction room directly in front of them to get the Helmut disguise?

Hahah! From just watching the videos on the site, I had no idea about this.

This was one of the harder elusive targets. There was no easy sniper point or poison point because they stayed in a heavily guarded room behind key card access. Great job everyone.

Good work for Jeff focusing Brad on the map and the systems. I know it's nerve wracking when you know the mission will be failed if you are caught as you leave.

These are so much fun and I am very glad you are doing this series.

Regarding Dan, I think he doesn't care so much about the mission as much as he cares about doing crazy antics for fun. I feel that was reflected in his argument that style mattered more than killing the target but not escaping. There is definitely a place for both views. I prefer the serious one on these missions but I can see Dan having a blast doing the vampire costume missions.

I'm glad Brad wants to win as he gets so invested in the content and so nervous that he is not going to complete the mission.

@turboman: this is great video, but I have a question about your score. You said it is imeaningless. Doesn't it affect the unlocks you get and your overall rank. Killing people hurts that score. But maybe you mean that it doesn't matter for these targets because the only point is finishing the mission?

Nope. The thing that affects unlocks and overall rank isn't the end of mission score, but the game's kind of achievement system thing where you get points by doing certain things in the course of your time with the map (ex: drown somebody in a toilet, find all the disguises, etc). The end of mission score (where they lose points for killing people) is entirely for the online ranking leaderboards.

This just made my day. Can not wait for the next one.

@bedurndurn: thanks! I have misunderstood that this entire game! I will never be good enough at this for the leaderboard to be relevant. I thought for sure the score affected the unlocks I got, not just the challenges.

Did anyone else pickup on he guards dialog about someone hiring a Hitman in return for the IAGO database? I have t been able to find a resource of the dialog lines in the various levels that show the relationship of the characters to each other. Like the mentions of the Church in Sapienza in other levels. I wish someone had put that together. There is more story here than just the end cutscenes.

Good work! Was this the first elusive target they completed and escaped from (so the first for the costume unlock that would count?). If so CONGRATS ON FIRST SUCCESS! Man Dan is going to be pissed when he finds out the first success was without him - the banter is going to be great when/if he comes back.

It continues to surprise me how little brad knows of how the systems work in Hitman.

I say this every video, so I doubt this will ever get read at this point... but Compromised means that at least ONE guy COULD ID other than the guys who already have the white dots. Think about it and it makes sense. The guy who saw you throw the hammer at him could ID you if he got woken up, if you kill him that status goes away, but as long as he is not found compromised does nothing.

You can tell who you are compromised with by the orange outline in hitman vision. Also, the compromised status I have noticed seems to have an added effect of being able to spread a bit between targets [the compromised guy saying "hey look for THIS guy"] but unless high alerts it doesn't spread tooo far.

Compromised doesn't mean everyone recognize you, it just means that the status of your outfit is lower than desirable as someone could directly ID you as a bad guy, vs the white dot guys that would just get suspicious that they don't recognize you.

The elusive Helmut Kruger strikes again.

So Helmut Krüger is still naked in the grass with guards trying to find out if he is who he says he is, and Brad is running around with his ID in that coat.

Then suddenly Helmuts helicopter takes off.

What a day.

@turboman: Seriously... The window to climb out of the attic and into the bathroom was right there. Still loved how tense that mistake made things.

Nicely done! Jeff did a great job keeping an eye on the map and letting Brad know when there were threats ahead.

@toysoldier83: No you are not. I was kind of surprised neither of them noticed that, and I actually caught myself saying "what are you doing!?" out loud.

Brad is STILL oblivious to the dotted lines around the minimap and the bolded black text on a white background that says "Trespassing". Amazing.

Wow, had no idea that was how trespassing worked.

"Compromised" only applies to certain NPCs.

That dude saw you throw the hammer at his face. Therefore your disguise is compromised with that NPC. As long as he is alive you'll still be "compromised" with him and if another guard wakes him up, then that guard will also know.

You can tell which NPCs you're compromised with because they have a white dot. If there's no white dot then you're fine.

Trespassing is essentially the same as when an NPC has a white dot. As long as you're not spotted then it doesn't matter if you're trespassing.

Cameras don't work like MGS cameras, they're just there for certain challenges. You can pretty much ignore them.

NPCs only wake up if someone finds them. If they're in a box then no one will find them.

The more I see of this game, the more I love it; so dope!

I'd love a Splinter Cell remake made in this same manner.

I mean he had a vampire magician disguise and then took it off. I can't imagine a way to screw up more. Dan is probably embarrassed to say he coached this man at proper Hitman technique.

That isn't very hard in this mission. Heck, Brad would have done it if he'd paid attention.

Now, No Knockouts would probably be impossible.
