I loved Bionic Commando so much as a kid, I wrote up an entire design document for what I thought the sequel should be, complete with a series of elaborate level layouts that I drew on graph paper.

I didn't even know Dracula was in this game.

Never understood this game as a kid, but Rearmed made me a believer.

This is how I always played games. I'm glad I'm not the only one. I didn't beat any games and I wasn't interested in beating games. I just enjoyed playing them.

@eccentrix: youre definitely not the only one haha, I remember playinbg wario land for years without ever getting past the first set of stages for example :p

Kept it up for a long time as well. I think Metal Gear Solid Twin Snakes or Tales of Symphonia was the first game I actually played all the way through and I was like 13 by then :p

I wonder if this is the first time in this game's history that someone played it while waiting for a an inspection of self done insulation.

Man, this is a pretty good game, isn't it? Rearmed was also mostly an amazig remake, with more character to the story, rebalanced weapons, extra upgrades and secrets hidden in levels and new, more interesting, bosses (which, while great, were all reused at least once, which I consider a minor flaw).

I think they patched the game, in some weird way, at some point though. I remember the standard difficulty removing instant death upon falling down a pit, with that only being a feature at the higher difficulties. I couldn't play they game with the normal style, enemy AI and difficulty, balance while also having pits be very punishing anymore. This was a bit of a personal bummer.

Rearmed 2 was also pretty good, though it had some of it's own issues, and wasn't buildt upon the foundation of a classic game. I'm also one of the few that really likes the strongly flawed 3D Bionic Commando.

This is my first time seeing Bionic Commando for the NES. I don't know how I've missed it. This looks amazing (and would have blown my mind back in the day)

I loved Bionic Commando on the NES. The remake was also fantastic.

The modern sequel was okay. Could have been better.

Loved the soundtrack.
