I'm digging these sit down talks Giantbomb continues to have with key people in the industry, especially those behind their favorite games.

This was very cool. I'm now even more excited for this game to come out now.

I think David Bateson is totally right - an out-of-the-blue 'bambi on ice' moment would be great. In the old games, it just wouldn't work due to the stories they were telling about and around 47 - but the shift in tone since 2016 would allow for brief glimpses of a more human Agent 47. With that said, I do also like the assumption that he can do anything though, and that can be played around with too (such as the drumming). Moments like: 'Surely he can't get away with this... Can he?'

This has been awesome, I have loved all the Hitman 2 content coming out. It would be great to see more stuff like this on the site going forward with interviews and such outside of E3.

Jan & Dan’s trip definitely was worth it based on the wealth of good content they got out of it. At first I thought they may have flown out there to just end up playing a simple demo of a game that comes out next month. Glad they got a cool peak into Ghost Mode, plus this interview. Also they got to see that weird McDonald’s DNA spray nightmare.

Good work Dan and Jan! I really enjoyed these Hitman videos.

For some reason I kept looking over Dan's shoulder as he was interviewing David. I felt like a fire extinguisher was going to be thrown at him at some point.

The interview with him was really awesome. Seems like a really nice guy.

After the David Bateson interview I really want a 47 gag reel. Like movie outtakes.

David Bateson seems to be the coolest dude alive, and perfect match for Agent 47.

Great interview! I'm surprised and glad that this franchise still exists and going strong despite some complications in the past.

I really loved Hitman until a weird bug unlocked everything for me included concept items? I lost all interest to unlock everything which was a huge shame.

This is awesome. Really love the interviews and it's great to see more variety of content on the site lately. Love it.

Bateson has such a strange accent, and like all people that have strange yet still British accent he's from South Africa.

Great stuff, guys. You two really made the most out of that trip; I appreciate all the content we've gotten out of it.

Great to hear from these folks! Hard to think I've been playing Hitman games for around 16 years. 2, Contracts, Blood Money, 2016, and soon 2018. One of the best video game series out there as far as I'm concerned, and mechanically it's never been better (though I do miss the ability to push NPCs at will lol).

And I remember that business about changing 47's voice actor. Super duper glad they didn't! Awesome to hear from David Bateson.

David Bateson is such a badass. I'm so glad they decided against recasting him for Absolution. That game was totally garbage, not sure what IOI was thinking with that game.

The other Hitman games are all masterworks, especially Blood Money and HITMAN ( the newest entry ).

@planetxpress: The moment something hits the mainstream Internet, the entire Western world knows about it. As a Swede, most of my entertainment is technically American non-fiction!

Those were some fun interviews to watch. It helps that I really loved the last Hitman game and this definitely looks like some more sandbox gameplay.
