King's Quest's Voice Cast Is Pretty Solid

Really hope this turns out well.

My favorite thing about this video is that I discovered actors I had thought passed on are actually still with us and still working.

Seeing Christopher Lloyd voicing this game reminds me of how depressing it is we never got Toonstruck 2.

I only know her as a pretty major character from Legend of Korra. But she was good in that.

She's also thankfully much cuter than her father.

Maybe they'll actually make a King's Quest game that's not bad.

@mrcaseyjones: I've never heard him pumped up about anything. He's a nice guy but generally quite reserved; I don't think much can be read into it.

Hearing that kingly voice from Christopher Lloyd makes me wonder whether he was ever considered for the part of Dumbledore in the Harry Potter movies. Michael Gambon did a fine job but Lloyd has always had a certain energy about him that makes him fun to listen to.

Cool people, but the game.....looks suspicious.

That is an annoying level of 'quirkiness'. I hope the tone of the game is a little softer.

That's a pretty impressive cast overall. I kind of forgot about this game, but I'm definitely intrigued again.

Sorry to state what might be the obvious but I'm almost brought to tears that Zelda Williams is a part of this.

There are obvious reasons why, but it's also exciting because it never occured to me that she would do voices (why in the world would I think that), but she has a wonderful tone of voice that seems very natural and I'd love to see her do more voice work.

That's a legit voice cast. They only need Peter Dinklage to round it out.

I'm probably who they are making this game for. I was a huge King's Quest fan when I was a kid. That said, I'm just not sure this hits the mark. To me, what I LOVED about King's Quest was walking up to things and typing in commands. I know. Stupid in a modern context. But that magical mystery of what was going to work and what wasn't, was 80% of the fun in those games. That just doesn't play anymore, even for me. I think they're trying to do the Telltale thing here. Maybe that'll work, but I really doubt it. The story of King's Quest itself was never really the thing that made it work. But hey, at least they have an awesome cast. That can't hurt.

I loved VI and VII as a kid.

That is a SOLID cast. Might be enough to get me actually interested in this game. I have nothing against it, I just also have no real connection to the Kings Quest name.
