Please please please play through the all episodes. People should be playing it, but I know there are some people out there that just never will and this woudl at least show them why LiS is showing up on so many GOTY lists my prognostication of what will happen) in a few months.

After finishing the final episode today I can only say that Life is Strange is a mental roller-coaster.

Despite some very odd turns in the finale you can at least be sure the ending is very much and ending.

@johnymyko: Well you're out of luck because it won by a landslide both times they asked what game they should play. After the end of episode 2 there no way they will be able to stop.

I just finished Episode 5 today but I will not consider my Life is Strange experience complete until the Beastbros do as well.

After finishing it yesterday I was in tears which almost never happens to me when playing a game. I don't think a game has hit me with such a gut busting conclusion since To The Moon. Final episode has the same bad pacing as the rest of the series but my God I don't think I'm ever going to forget that final sequence. I've had a couple moments in games where I really didn't know how to make a choice and despite the concluding choice being the obvious concluding choice that I had expected since Episode 2, the characters and world in this game were so well built I felt like I was in Shophie's Choice even more so than in The Walking Dead or Mass Effect 3.

I also wonder what percentage of people guessed who the killer was. There was a moment in Episode 2 where it just hit me like a brick and I realized where this whole thing was going and not a single twist following that surprised me. I felt like with that one scene the writers just tipped their entire hand, but I'd be curious how many others felt like the twists were too obvious.

Watching GBeast run any game in an enduring fashion is probably my favorite content on the site currently, would love to see more of this stuff!

Played it through to the end as soon as it dropped on Steam. Amazeballs, as Chloe would say.

The game is emotionally and mentally very impactful, I understand why the game advertises support groups that can help you deal with experiencing the events in the game. This game is taking up all my thoughts even after finishing it.

The sooner the better so I can watch you guys play something actually fun to watch.

Been great watching the Beastsquad playing through this. As Austin says, this is way realer than lots of people realise going into it.

Although the somewhat limited budget (and corresponding retail price) is pretty clear (no one is going to confuse the lipsync - even after the recent patch redid it all to be slightly better - with facial performance capture on something like Until Dawn or other AAA games), I'm really glad stuff like this gets made. Hopefully this'll inspire other publishers to maybe hand over a bit more money to devs making stories you don't normally see in games.

Dear god, I adored this series. I finished it yesterday and it's still haunting my thoughts.

Life is Strange is probably the best surprise of the year, alongside Undertale. Such an amazing experience.

2015 has been the year of Life is Strange for me. Just when I forget about the game, a new episode comes out. It would make me year if you guys would get to experience the rest of the game.

I would love to see GBeast finish this wonderful game, because it deserves its chance in the GOTY discussions this year. It's one of best character-driven games I've ever had the pleasure of playing.

@lazyimperial: Yea I saw it advertised at the bottom of the main menu. Right now it says "Episode 5 OUT NOW" but sometimes it says to visit a website for emotional support.

I think that's for real life issues as opposed to dealing with the game's soul-crushingness (as valid as it may be). Despite being a fantasy, it deals with a lot of real life issues.

They stuck the landing. Awesome finale.

I enjoyed episode 1 at the time but I had no idea the series would wind up there it did. (And it's crazy going back and seeing how much all the later insanity was clearly seeded early on; I hope to see more thoroughly planned out episodic series like this.)

If the voice acting somehow gets better it's got my vote.

Really liked the first episode and haven't touched it since, until this week when I caved and caught up. Despite a lot of things going against the game (including the voice actress, the dialog, the cloying trigger warning/referral on the menu screen), it was pretty great as far as interactive fiction (with a few slight game-ish elements) goes.

Until the very final minute. What a fucking "cover all our bases" let-down. I felt like my choices ultimately meant nothing for the ten hours leading up to the Deus Ex / Mass Effect 3 finale.

Up until that point, I was thinking that anyone who made a top ten list without having played the game would be doing a disservice to the GOTY thing . . . but that very final bit just felt so mechanically unsatisfying that it really tripped off that high spot on the podium that it was about to claim.

It might be a good idea to move that post there and edit out the potential spoiler hinting here. Personally I liked the ending btw.

If Call of Duty had blurbs recommending facilities for Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder popping up (war is heck and this game's about war and stuff, kind of. Zombies too. I did the exact same thing after GBEast reminded me about this game. I also feel exactly the same way. I was really enjoying it despite some of its problems and then the last few minutes were just so bad and made everything before it not really matter. Mass Effect 3 is the perfect way to describe it. I do think the creators had this result planned from the beginning but it felt like a real bait and switch.
