Mass Effect 2 Comes To PlayStation 3

Although I don't own a PS3, I'm glad that Bioware is expanding the franchise. 
 
Also, thank god I finally got that quest.

The more people that get to play ME2, the better!  Brilliant game!

This is one of those games that as a PS3 owner I was sort of interested in from afar before it came out. I'm less sold on it than I was in the past, but I may pick it up now it's coming to PS3.

here is to hopping this did not impact me3 development time.

Sweet finally my friends have been slackin they need to play this game already so I can stop sounding psycho when I tell them Mass Effect > Starwars.

Good that it's coming out on PS3, but it's strange to see a current gen sequel without it's predecessor come out.

 The Bioware Social site is freaking out. It's kinda funny/annoying.

Great... Considering how glitchy and buggy their games are when on the 360.  I can't wait to see how bad they are on the ps3. 

This is great news for the ps3 folks.  But seriously if they can't port ME1 over too this is all for nothing.  And I don't see that ever happening since Microsoft owns the publishing rights to ME1.  You really need to experience ME1 first before even thinking about playing ME2.  Just my 2 cents though.

I know that burnout, infamous, and red faction came out on The PSN so ME1 could show up their and not hassle the bioware guys to much with shipping and manufacturing . But there's port work and legal stuff and as a man who only owns a playstation 3 but loves games first and foremost I want ME3 to be the best it can be. So if we some how get ME1, Hurray! If not i'll just play this and keep my dragon age dude around.

ME1 and 2 on one blu-ray disc plz.  Also Mass Effect Trilogy on one disc as well later on.

They can't port the first one because it was published by MS. Too bad because if the PS3 would fix all the glitches in the first I would re-purchase both for it.

So where is Mass Effect 1? Then again they could just make it the most amazing super special preorder bonus to have ever existed.
 
Most of all, I sure hope you PS3 owners don't get boned with another shitty port. If Bioware is smart and they want to continue their expansion on PS3, the better work out all the kinks.

I'd be more excited a year ago before I bought a 360.

No problem with it coming to PS3 - share the love I say - But they really need to think about bundling it with Mass Effect 1. I suppose they could top it with a "story so far" video, but half the  fun was seeing how all your decisions carried through.

This is making me want to play the game again and lol at the people who first dismissed this game when it came out and are then acting excited since it's coming to PS3.

While I split my game library between my Xbox and PS3.. Mass Effect was one of the only console exclusives keeping me firmly with the Xbox.. if I can Shepperd on the PS3, I may be able to trade in my Xbox in 2011.

Now just release Alan Wake on PS3 and ill never have to buy a 360 EVER

I lost my save on Steam copy, gonna rent this as I would prefer my ME3 to be PS3 (As opposed to PC).
